CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A second night of a Broward County curfew will go into effect on Monday at 9 pm and end on Tuesday at 6 am as fears grew locally and across the nation over violent protests following the death of George Floyd.
During the curfew, Coral Springs residents must remain home until the curfew is no longer in force, but they are allowed to travel directly to and from their home to their place of employment, according to the order.
No one is permitted to be on the streets and sidewalks except for active-duty police, fire rescue, first responders and medical, health care and utility service personnel, the order said.
Residents, though, are allowed to walk their dogs and other pets within 250 feet of their homes.
