PARKLAND, FL- Parkland Travel Soccer and the City of Parkland are ensuring the spirit of Alyssa Alhadeff lives on.

The "Friendship Bench" at Pine Trails Park was dedicated in memory of Alyssa, who lost her life in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy in 2018 and was captain of the Parkland Travel Soccer.

Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky was on hand as the bench was dedicated at the park's Field 8, which was Alyssa's number and a field she spent many hours training on over the years.
