CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Here are the Coral Springs businesses that have received violation warnings for not following sanitation, social distancing, facial covering, or other safety measures related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The violation warnings are published on a new website (Broward County COVID-19 Business Complaints) that is based on crowd-sourcing information.

Here’s how violations are generated.

Visitors to businesses report their concerns by calling Broward County’s 311 hotline, visiting the county’s website ( and downloading an app) or calling the code enforcement offices in cities where the businesses are located. Visitors can use their names or be anonymous when reporting complaints.

Once a complaint is received, code enforcement officers visit the business and determine if there’s grounds for a violation. If there is, officers work with the business to resolve the issue during the visit or officers issue a warning if the business is out of compliance with the virus safety measures. If the business is warned, officers return to re-inspect and if the issue isn’t resolved, they issue a citation to the business.

The following information is, once again, attributed to the Broward County COVID-19 Business Complaints website.

In all, there have been 46 violation warnings issued to businesses in Coral Springs since March.
