CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The next Coral Springs drive-in, movie night is set for Oct. 10 – and it will honor the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department’s 50 years of service, the city announced on Friday.

The film, “Playing with Fire” (PG rated), will be shown at Tom Messenheimer Special Event Field at Sportsplex (2575 Sportsplex Drive). Officials from the fire-rescue team will showcase vehicles and hand out gifts.

Residents from Coral Springs and Parkland are invited. They will be able to get tickets through Eventbrite, starting on Oct. 2.

Residents must pre-register on Eventbrite, one ticket per car. 

Due to limited space, tickets are non-transferrable and IDs will be checked prior to entry.  Gates open at 6 p.m., pre-show 7 p.m., and the movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Parking is assigned by event staff upon arrival and entry. All cars will enter from Royal Palm Boulevard.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Coral Springs Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association , a nonprofit providing support and services internally to members.

The city’s first drive-in movie night on Sept. 12 was postponed due to bad weather. It is rescheduled for Nov. 20. Read our story here.
