Positivity rate (a key local indicator of infection spread) on Thursday: 4.07% -- it’s the rate of people testing positive out of those taking the test.

- Since Oct. 9, 25 new deaths as reported Thursday. (1,492 total deaths) (2% of all cases)

 

Florida:

- Since Oct. 9, 10,497 new cases as reported Thursday. (744,988 total cases)

- Since Oct. 9, 372 new deaths as reported Thursday. (15,736 total deaths) (2% of all cases)
