CORAL SPRINGS, FL – After reviewed the new Broward County coronavirus guidelines for summer camp, Coral Springs officials decided Wednesday not to open the city’s Kamp Kool program, but they are permitting other summer camps to operate.

Officials said in a news release that residents have options through contractual camps offered in Coral Springs.

Here are on-site summer camps allowed to operate with restrictions and CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus:

  • Sawgrass Nature Center
    • Start Date: July 6; registration opens June 13
    • Age Group: 6 to 12 years old
  • Simply Soccer
    • Start Date: June 22
    • Age Group: 5 to 15
    • Registration is available on-line via webtrac
  • Tennis Camp
    • Start Date: July 6
    • Age Group: 5 to 16
    • Must call to register: 954-344-1840

In addition, officials said the Coral Springs Swim Club and Diving Camps won’t operate either. Call 954-345-2121 for more information.
