In addition, the city will be working on procuring raw materials and services that will be needed to serve residents, Brief said in an email to Chamber members.

“As a result of the state of emergency declared in the City of Coral Springs (on Friday), procurement procedures are going to be relaxed and the city will have more opportunity to purchase from local vendors,” Brief wrote.

She said the Chamber will forward this and other information to businesses in the coming days and weeks.

The Chamber will also be in communication with federal, state and local organizations regarding business assistance, Brief said.
