CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Ready for Sizzlis, Gobblers, frozen cappuccinos, and all-things hoagies? That’s right, Coral Springs is getting its first Wawa store.

The gas station/convenience store with competitive gas prices is scheduled to open the first week of March at the corner of West Sample Road and North Rock Island Road, across from Coral Springs High School, according to city planners.

If the 5,636-square-foot Coral Springs store is similar to other Wawa openings, customers can expect free coffee and T-shirts and other specials as part of the grand opening festivities.

Coral Springs is Wawa's latest expansion into South Florida and across the state. Wawa broke ground in Florida in 2012 in Orlando and has planned to open more than 50 stores in South Florida in the next three to five years, aiming for as many as 400 stores in Florida, according to the Pennsylvania-based company.
