CORAL SPRINGS, FL - Is there anything left to do out and about in Coral Springs?

The answer: not much.

On Thursday afternoon, Gov. Ron DeSantis said an order is coming to close all non-essential businesses in Broward County in one of the most aggressive attempts yet to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

It wasn’t clear what those businesses are, but officials have said that essential businesses include grocery stores, gas stations, day care facilities, and pet supply stores.

So what was still opened on Thursday? Here are a few activities-oriented places:

- Plaster Carousel, 9865 W Sample Road (sold to-go kits)

- Monster Mini Golf, 9533 Westview Drive

There’s plenty of restaurants still accepting take-out and delivery services. See the list here.

Here are a few of the banks that were open:

- Chase:

      - Sample Road and 441

- Wells Fargo:

      - Westview Plaza

      - Lakeview

      - Heron Bay

And what’s closed? That list is much longer, unfortunately. Here’s a sample of it:

- All movie theaters

- All parks and recreation facilities

- Coral Square Mall

- All gyms and fitness centers
