CORAL SPRINGS, FL – As part of the national Teacher Appreciation Week, a Coral Springs middle school offered teachers free drive-by lunches on Thursday.

Forest Glen Middle School on Turtle Run Boulevard sought the help of J&C BBQ food truck to cook up the special meals in honor of the work teachers are doing right now to educate students hunkered down at home due to coronavirus.

“Our faculty has been very encouraging and supportive to our students during this process and we want them to know that we see them working harder than ever, and we love them all for going above and beyond the call of duty,” Principal Ronald Forsman said in a news release.
