CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Close to 3,000 cases of produce will be distributed for free to families in need on Wednesday in Coral Springs, organizers said.

The nonprofit, Chabad of Coral Springs, is expecting a major shipment of produce from Simply Fresh to give out to people in cars on a first-come, first-served basis.

The food distribution is expected to start around 5 p.m. at the center at 3925 N University Drive.

Volunteers will put a case of produce in each car.

Chabad has been giving out produce and other food since the coronavirus crisis started. This shipment from Simply Fresh will be one of the largest so far.
