CORAL SPRINGS, FL – At Broward Health, there’s been plenty of “happy” moments related to the coronavirus (COVID 19).

The hospital system released Wednesday a video showing celebrations as patients recovered from the coronavirus and other ailments were leaving hospitals in recent weeks, with applause, cheering, and dancing from medical staffers.

In all, close to 350 people left the system’s five hospitals, including Broward Health Coral Springs, said Jennifer Smith, associate vice president of corporate communications for Broward Health, in a news release.

The video goes with the start of Nurses Week.

“We hope you’ll clap along and be “Happy” with us as we celebrate our nurses every day, but particularly today with the start of Nurses Week,” she wrote. “Thank you to every nurse in every area of our hospitals, and especially those who’ve helped almost 350 patients return to their families as part of our Code Happy discharges.”
