CORAL SPRINGS, FL – For at least the third time in recent months, a 7-Eleven store in Coral Springs has been hit by alleged gas thieves, police reports said.

Police arrested Andro Rodriguez Gonzalez, 31, of Miami, for driving his truck to the store at 11595 Wiles Road on March 3 and allegedly using a “pulser” to fraudulently fill up a tank under his truck with gas, reports said.

They also arrested Gerardo Salguero Guzman, 32, of Miami, who was in his truck and allegedly waiting to do the same thing, the report said.

Their Ford F150 trucks came equipped with “gas bladders,” an illegal undercarriage commonly used in theft of gas, the reports said.

According to an investigator from 7-Eleven who was watching the alleged theft live, Rodriguez Gonzalez improperly obtained 311 gallons of fuel worth $1,232, the reports said.

The investigator called police who arrested him on five charges including grand theft and obtaining fuel by fraud.**BULLSEYE

Salguero Guzman was charged with four crimes.

Similar thefts were reported at the same 7-Eleven store in January (read more here) and on Halloween (read more here).

Both men were taken to Broward County Jail and released after paying their bonds, court records show.**STANDARD
