Once officers arrived, they found Gonzalez’s girlfriend suffering from minor injuries when she fell into a door after Gonzalez pushed her, the report said.

The argument started when Gonzalez got upset because he thought the daughter of his girlfriend took the TV remote control from the family living.

When his girlfriend intervened, he became enraged, punched a large hole in the wall, and pushed his girlfriend until she fell, the report said.

Gonzalez told police he got emotional during the argument but didn’t strike his girlfriend.
