CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Coral Springs police said they have arrested one of the suspects involved in a bunch of car burglaries between March 28 and April 1 in the Riverside Drive and Royal Palm area.

The arrest was announced Tuesday on social media. No other information was available about the person or the charges, and police didn’t say if more arrests are coming.

The items stolen from the cars included cash, gift cards, debit and credit cards, photo IDs, a GoPro, a flashlight, and a hand gun, police said.

Police said they are reviewing videos of the suspect attempting to break into cars and looking at other evidence to determine if more charges should be added.

Investigators urged residents to lock their car doors and remove items of value, especially the key FOB.
