CORAL SPRINGS, FL - The Coral Springs Police Department reported that at least $11,000 was stolen in 28 incidents of fraud, shoplifting, car break-ins, and other thefts during the week of May 26 – June 1.

In addition, two people were arrested for theft-related crimes during that time.

Burglary 

- May 27, 600 block of NW 104 Avenue, nothing stolen

 

Theft arrests (Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty.)

- Gerardo Mercado, 22, arrested on a charge of burglary/theft From auto.

- Owen Peterkin, 19, arrested on a charge of burglary.
