CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The Coral Springs Humane Unit is hosting Thursday its first Pet Food Drive at the Coral Springs Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Drive.

The drive, from 10 am -12 pm, is seeking new and unopened cat and dog food bags and cans for animals in the care of the unit, which is part of the city’s police department and responsible for enforcing the animal ordinances in Coral Springs.

Organizers are asking residents to put donated bags and cans in the trunks of their cars and drive up to the gymnasium where officers and others will take out the items in order to minimize contact due to the coronavirus pandemic.
