Coral Springs Charter School finished fourth at the Florida High School Athletic Association state cheerleading championships at the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville.

The Panthers, winners of state titles in 2017 and 2018, had placed third last year in the small non-tumbling division at the state championships.

Bishop Snyder won the Class 1A small non-tumbling division with 85.70 points on Saturday night, while the Panthers finished with a total of 80.60. Lake Highland Prep was second with 83.60 points, while Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) was third with a score of 81.25.

“We had an amazing performance, one of the strongest of the season,” said Coral Springs Charter School coach Rachal Garris. “We just went against teams that were also amazing and hit great routines.”
