Construction of 20 Unit Mixed-Use Apartment Building at 310 Centennial Avenue Commences

Cranford, NJ— 5/21/18 310 Centennial Avenue, LLC announced today that ground breaking has occurred on the construction of its 20 unit mixed-use apartment building at 310 Centennial Avenue.  The building will consist of 14 two-bedroom apartments, 6 one-bedroom apartments and a single retail space.

Gehane Triarsi, one of the Principals of 310 Centennial Avenue, LLC  said that “the group is excited to be constructing a high quality building on a site that has been undeveloped for many years.  We are excited to participate along with current and future owners to bring a new look to Centennial Avenue.”

The project’s architect is BlackBird Group Architects, a firm that has designed several buildings as part of the revitalization of downtown Cranford.  Avelino Martinez, principal of the firm, said “Our primary objective was to provide a building that enhances the character of the surrounding neighborhood and provides an exceptional living experience for the future tenants”.

The General Contractor for this project is Maxphil Development, LLC a Hillside based building firm that specializes in mixed-use residential and luxury home construction.  John Costa, who will be Maxphil’s Project Manager for 310 Centennial, noted that “our goal in construction is to build a high quality product in as little time as possible while minimizing disruption to the neighbors”.

Construction is expected to take approximately 12 months.  Leasing information will be available at a later date.
