CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford narrowly defeated Arthur L. Johnson, 6-5, in Saturday’s baseball game.

Both Tom Armstrong and Michael McGee hit home runs for Cranford. Armstrong added three runs and McGree hit two RBI’s.

James Shriner hit an RBi in the sixth inning. Brian Oblachinski had one run with two hits, Matthew Perino had one run and one hit each, and Ryan Bakie and James Wozniak scored one run each.

Jack McAleavey pitched five innings, allowing five hits and striking out three. Chris Librera pitched two innings, allowing two hits and striking out two with one walk.

Cranford will play against Iselin Kennedy on Monday at home.
