Breaking: Six-Car Accident Hits Traffic Light on Walnut and Raritan

CRANFORD, NJ – A six-car motor vehicle accident occurred on Raritan Road and Walnut Avenue on Friday morning at 9:14 a.m., according to the Breaking News Network and the Cranford Police Department.

One traffic light was taken down during the accident. 

One person was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Detective Sergeant Ryan Greco of the CPD said.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Cranford Police Department's Traffic Division.

A BNN update at 9:43 a.m. reports that patrol on scene is attempting to open the roadway.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.
