CRANFORD - Trinity Cranford Episcopal Church is hosting a charity ice cream sale on Sunday, September 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Sherlock Hall at Trinity Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ.

"Proceeds from the sale will benefit The Good Shepherd Home for Children in Cameroon that cares for orphaned children." said Marion Nechuta, Trinity's Outreach Team Leader. "Please join us in supporting such important, life-sustaining work. Trinity Cranford sponsors two of the orphans, Daniella and Musuga."

The Good Shepherd Home for Children, founded by Sister Jane Mankaa, is dedicated to nurturing the orphans of her country. It is located in the North West Province of Cameroon, an area with 50,000 orphaned children. Over 150 of them have found a home at Good Shepherd where they are sheltered, fed, clothed, educated, and most of all, loved. Sister Jane does not turn any child away and no child is put up for adoption. The children truly live in a loving family environment with over 150 brothers and sisters. In a few years, Good Shepherd Home has grown to include a dormitory, primary school, bakery, and chicken farm. They are in the process of opening a medical clinic to serve area children.
