To celebrate Black History Month, the Cranford Historical Society and the Cranford Public Library invites you to attend a “Concert of Negro Spirituals” sung by tenor David S. Gooding with piano accompanist Kim Baker at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 7:00PM. Mr. Gooding was born in Barbados and is a graduate of England’s Royal College of Music in London. He is the organist at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Elizabeth. He has performed at many venues here and abroad including Westminster Abbey.
Admission to the program is free and all are welcome. Sponsored by the Cranford Historical Society and the Cranford Public Library.
