CRANFORD, NJ – The Cougar’s baseball team scored 12 runs off of 16 hits, to defeat Dayton High-School, 12-2, Thursday at Memorial Field.

Cranford received offensive contributions from eight different batters, including; Patrick Knight, who went three for four with two runs and three RBIs and Joe Norton who connected three times with two RBIs.  Ryan Bakie and Albert Gargiulo added three hits each, while Garrett Forrestal connected twice. Also contributing, Liam Duffy, who went one for one with a double and two RBIs.

The winning pitcher for Cranford was Vince Genova, who gave up one run on four hits with two strikeouts, in four innings pitched.
