CRANFORD, NJ - The Cranford Police Department will host its seventh session of the Citizens Police Academy in March.  

The Citizens Academy is part of the ongoing effort for the Cranford Police Department and the community to work together and develop a lasting relationship.

Academy students will receive classroom lectures and hands on demonstrations in many areas of interest, including computer crimes, narcotic enforcement, traffic stops, and juvenile laws. Classes are two hours and have been tentatively scheduled to meet Wednesday evenings beginning on March 15 and end in mid-June.

Applicants must be 21 years of age and older and be either a resident or work in Cranford.
