Cranford Cougar Softball Camp Set for July

CRANFORD, NJ – The Cranford Cougar Softball Camp will once again be offered this summer. The camp will be held July 11 - July 14, with a rain date of July 15, and run from 9:00 a.m.-noon, at Adams Avenue Field. The camp is open to girls entering the first grade through the ninth grade.

The Cranford Softball philosophy is to teach the fundamental skills necessary to improve a softball player in a fun-filled environment. The camp will be under the direction of Coach West, Cranford Head Softball Coach.  Her staff will include assistant coaches, former players and current college softball players.

Throughout each day campers will be involved in individual workouts, proper stretching techniques, fundamental drill stations, game play, individual competition and drills, lectures, contests and special game situations.

The cost is $150.00 per player, and the fee includes instruction, camp T-shirt, competition, drills and awards.

Please be sure to bring a softball glove, bat (if you have one), cleats (recommended), sunblock and water.  Note:  There will be water available at camp.

CRANFORD, NJ - Due to impressive performances as goalies for varsity lacrosse, Anna Horne and Phil Marotta are Cranford High School's Athletes of the Week.
