CRANFORD - 29 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cranford since February 24, according to the Township of Cranford. Currently, there are 56 active cases in town.

The 29 new positives bring Cranford's total to 1,246 since the first reported case on March 17. With one new fatality (in the community), the total rises to 107. Of the 107, 84 were residents living in one of Cranford's long-term care facilities, while 23 were residents living in the community.

To protect the private medical information of these individuals, Cranford will not be releasing additional information about these cases. Residents are asked to respect the impacted residents right to privacy based on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
