CRANFORD - 60 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cranford since January 13, according to the Township of Cranford. Currently, there are 125 active cases in town.

The 60 new positives bring Cranford's total to 1,072 since the first reported case on March 17. With no new deaths, the total remains at 103. Of the 103, 84 were residents living in one of Cranford's long-term care facilities, while 19 were residents living in the community.

To protect the private medical information of these individuals, Cranford will not be releasing additional information about these cases. Residents are asked to respect the impacted residents right to privacy based on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
