CRANFORD, NJ – The Cranford Fire Department is currently accepting applications for call firefighters.

Call firefighters serve as volunteer firefighters for a one-year term, with an option for re-appointment based on a recommendation by Chief Dan Czeh and the approval of the Cranford Township Committee.

The hired firefighter is required to maintain a 25 percent response percentage to remain on the roster and to take any entrance level exams for the career department.
