CRANFORD, NJ – Under the Friday night lights, Cranford and Delaware Valley put their unbeaten records on the line. Cranford would come away with a, 28-21, victory to remain undefeated at, 7-0.

Tied at the half, 21-21, the score would remain that way until just under four minutes left. Junior Ryan Bakie caught a 16-yard reception to set up Sean Leonard’s four-yard touchdown run, for the lead. Leonard rushed for 95 yards and caught five for 148 yards on the night.

Senior quarterback Jack Schetelich completed 10 for 13 passes for 257 yards and ran for 54 yards with two touchdowns. Junior Brian McGovern rushed for 98 yards, including a 38-yard touchdown run and kicker Joe Norton converted all four extra points.

The Cougars look to extend their unbeaten streak when they play Governor Livingston Friday Oct. 30, at Memorial Field.
