MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Cranford girls lacrosse team defeated Villa Walsh, 16-9, in their second win of the season on April 3.

Freshman Alyssa Gesslein topped the leaderboard with four goals, while Jeannie Padden, Grace Power and Maggie Roman all scored three each to lead the Cougars to victory.

Abbi Ganley and Lucia Rinaldi also registered goals, Ganley with two and Rinaldi with one. Ganley led the team in assists with three to her name in total.

Sophomore goalie Anna Horne saved eight scoring attempts.

Cranford will take on Paramus on April 6 at Paramus High School.
