CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford’s varsity softball team needed only four innings to claim a victory. They defeated New Providence, 20-1, Thursday in New Providence.

Junior Morgan Ferretti had three hits, with three RBIs and two runs for the lady Cougars. Jillian Skalski added three RBIS and two runs off of two hits. Senior pitcher, Theresa Wetherall gave up four hits, had three strikeouts and one run in her four innings pitched.

The lady Cougars are in action again on Monday, April 6, when they travel to Westfield at 4:00 p.m..
