The Cranford High School Performing Arts Department is excited to announce the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Dance program. In honor of this milestone, a Dance Reunion Concert will be held on June 2nd  at 6:00pm in the Cranford High School Auditorium, with a reception to immediately follow.  Current and former students will come together to perform work from past years, as well as alumni choreography. The concert is open to the public and admission is $10 at the door.

Over the past ten years the CHS Dance Program has performed at the Regional High School Dance Festival, the 92nd Street Y in New York City, Hamilton Stages and the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, Universal Studios Orlando, the State Teen Arts Festival, and Mason Gross Rutgers.  Alumni have gone on to study dance at SUNY Purchase, Ailey/Fordham, Mason Gross, and Montclair State University.

The dance program sponsors a chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, published an article in their quarterly newsletter and has been featured in the journal "Dance Education in Practice." Students in the program regularly attend the Regional High School Dance Festival, engage with multiple guest artists, and travel to professional master classes in New York City.
