Cranford Parking Regulations During a Snow Emergency

CRANFORD, NJ – The Cranford Police Department reminds residents about parking regulations during a snow emergency.

See below:

On-Street parking:
Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the roadways to assist the DPW in keeping the roads clear and to ensure the safe passage of fire engines and other emergency vehicles. Please use your driveway, a family member's, or a neighbor’s driveway if possible.

Due to the large amount of snow expected, parking WILL NOT be permitted in the municipal lots or parking garage except for those with the proper parking permits. Also, no parking is permitted on any school property.

Residents in need of a place to park may utilize the Orange Avenue Pool parking lot or the Centennial Avenue Pool parking lot closest to Centennial Avenue.

The township created a snow emergency ordinance that now prohibits parking on the roadway during snow storms.  Below is a listing of all Township, County, and State roadways that prohibit parking.  Vehicles left of the roadway will be subject to towing. In addition, a map of the routes can be found at http://cranford.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/CranfordSnowRouteMap.pdf

Proud to support Tom Malinowski for Congress

March 8, 2018

Every single day, whether I want to be or not, I am reminded how important it is that Democrats gain control of the House of Representatives in November and check Donald Trump. Fortunately, there is a terrific candidate in New Jersey's 7th Congressional District who can beat incumbent Leonard Lance. That candidate is Tom Malinowski.

I'm a lifelong New Jersey resident -- including ...
