Arrested: Christian McCarthy, 26, Barnegat

Arrested by: Ptl. Matthew Siessel

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2008 Lexus was stopped on North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a cracked windshield. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Siessel arrested the driver, Christian McCarthy, for suspected heroin found in his possession. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps, a cracked windshield, an obstructed view and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

South Avenue West and Washington Place

Arrested: Steven Delafe, 30, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. Christopher Gross

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2000 Mercury was stopped on South Avenue West and Washington Place for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Gross arrested the driver, Steven Delafe, for suspected heroin found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

North Avenue East and Elizabeth Avenue

Arrested: Brian Warren, 42, Plainfield

Arrested by: Ptl. Shayne Temple

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: A 2000 Chevy was stopped on North Avenue East and Elizabeth Avenue for erratic driving. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Temple arrested the driver, Brian Warren, for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued a motor vehicle summons for refusal to consent to the taking of breath samples, careless driving, speeding and failure to keep right.
