Arrested: Levi Everett Jr., 57, Brooklyn

Arrested by: Ptl. James Knight

Charges: Bad Checks

Remarks: Police units responded to a business on the 400 Block of South Avenue East for a suspicious male inside the premise. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Knight arrested the individual, Levi Everett, after he was discovered trying to cash a fraudulent check. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date.

Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road

Arrested: Karen Panza, 42, Carteret

Arrested by: Ptl. Jason D’Agostino

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2004 Chevrolet was stopped on Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. D’Agostino arrested a passenger, Karen Panza, for possession of suspected heroin. She was processed and provided with Superior Court appearance date.

Centennial Avenue and Hayes Street

Arrested: Eileen Dinardo, 46, Colonia

Arrested by: Ptl. Gregory Federici

Charges: Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2018 Ford was stopped on Centennial Avenue and Hayes Street for failing to signal a lane change. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Federici arrested the driver, Eileen Dinardo, for possession of suspected Oxycodone. She was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Dinardo was issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to signal a lane change and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
