Arrested: Woldy Ventura-Cruz, 31, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. James Knight

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: A 2002 Mazda was stopped on Raritan Road Avenue and Moen Avenue for failing to stop for a traffic control device. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Knight arrested the driver, Woldy Ventura-Cruz, for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Ventura-Cruz was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to the taking of breath samples, careless driving, failure to obey a traffic signal device, no registration or insurance card in his possession, unlicensed driver and unregistered vehicle.

Orange Avenue

Arrested: Cornell Roper, 46, Cranford

Arrested by: Ptl. Lynne Galvez

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Orange Avenue. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Galvez arrested one of the drivers, Cornell Roper, for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Roper was issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to the taking of breath samples and careless driving.

Raritan Road and Mohawk Drive

Arrested: Gerard Foglia, 38, Garwood

Arrested by: Ptl. Thomas Bell

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI); Under the Influence

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Raritan Road and Mohawk Drive. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Bell arrested one of the drivers, Gerard Foglia, for driving while intoxicated and for being under the influence. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Foglia was issued motor vehicle summonses for improper passing and careless driving.
