Arrested: Joshuah Randolph, 27, Passaic

Arrested by: Ptl. Timothy Handy

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI); Under the influence

Remarks: A 2003 Saturn was stopped on Cayuga Road and Munsee Drive for an illegal turn. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Handy arrested the driver, Joshuah Randolph, for driving while intoxicated and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for an illegal turn, failure to signal a turn, careless driving and a seatbelt violation.

South Avenue West

Arrested: Justin Kugel, 42, Roselle

Arrested by: Ptl. Corey LoForte

Charges: Shoplifting; Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to a South Avenue West business on a report of a shoplifter. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. LoForte arrested an individual, Justin Kugel, for shoplifting. In addition, Kugel was found to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe and drug paraphernalia. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.

400 Block of Orchard Street

Arrested: Elizabeth Fanelli, 40, Cranford

Arrested by: Ptl. Ali Muhammad

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on the 400 block of Orchard Street. A 2006 Honda had struck a parked car and overturned in the middle of the roadway. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Muhammad arrested the driver, Elizabeth Fanelli, for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Fanelli was issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, delaying traffic and obstructing the passage of others vehicles.

High Street and Pine Street

Arrested: Andrew Gugulski, 26, Union

Arrested by: Ptl. Corey LoForte

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI); Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs; Under the Influence; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to the area of High Street and Pine Street for an intoxicated male entering a vehicle. Police stopped the 2014 Hyundai and following an investigation on scene, Ptl. LoForte arrested the driver, Andrew Gugulski, for possession of suspected heroin, Xanax, and for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Gugulski was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to signal a turn, tinted windows, throwing debris from a vehicle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Myrtle Street

Arrested: Stephen Thomas, 21, Hopatcong

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of a Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2008 Jeep was stopped on Myrtle Street for a view obstruction. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Gross arrested the driver, Stephen Thomas, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, a view obstruction and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of a Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2005 Honda was stopped on North Avenue East and John Street for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Temple arrested the driver, Thomas Triola, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
