Arrested: Trayjon Mayo, 24, Elizabeth

Charges: Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Over 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2008 Dodge was stopped on North Avenue East for unclear plates. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Holder arrested the driver, Trayjon Mayo, for distribution of suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Mayo was also issued motor vehicle summonses for unclear plates, no valid registration in his possession, no valid insurance card in his possession and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

North Avenue East and John Street

Arrested: Richard Trujillo, 31, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. Nicholas Cook

Charges: Receiving Stolen Property; Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2007 Acura was stopped on North Avenue East and John Street for tinted windows. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Cook arrested the driver, Richard Trujillo, for receiving stolen property when a license plate previously stolen from Newark, NJ was found inside the vehicle. He also had suspected marijuana in his possession. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Trujillo was also issued motor vehicle summonses for tinted windows, unclear plates, no insurance, no inspection, no valid registration card, no valid insurance card and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

South Avenue West

Arrested: David Cruz, 43, Elizabeth

Arrested by: Ptl. Corey LoForte

Charges: Receiving Stolen Property; Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A suspicious male on a bicycle was stopped, by police units, while riding along South Avenue West. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. LoForte arrested the bicyclist, David Cruz, for being in possession of a stolen bicycle previously taken from Cranford. He also had suspected crack-cocaine in his possession. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. Cruz was found to have an active arrest warrant for robbery out of North Arlington and a warrant out of Scotch Plains for burglary.

Arrested: Markenson Quetant, 26, Irvington

Charges: Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of Over 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2014 Toyota was stopped on South Avenue East for a view obstruction. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. LoForte arrested the driver, Markenson Quetant, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Quetant was also issued motor vehicle summonses for a view obstruction, no seatbelt, suspended driver and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

High Street

Arrested: Maiorano Giulliana, Lyndhurst

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)

Remarks: Police units were dispatched to High Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a rollover. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Pasternak arrested a driver, Maiorano Giulliana, for driving while intoxicated. She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Giulliana was also issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving, careless driving, failure to keep right and failure to possess a valid registration and insurance card for the vehicle.

Centennial Avenue

Arrested: Unique Davis, 20, Uniondale NY

Charges: Credit Card Theft; Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs

Remarks: A 2018 Nissan was stopped on Centennial Avenue for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Federici arrested a passenger, Unique Davis, for possession of suspected Rizatriptan and seventeen stolen credit cards found in her possession. She was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was also issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation, a view obstruction and suspended driver.

Springfield Avenue and Seneca Road

Arrested: Michel Rojas, 22, Kearny

Charges: Possession of Under 50g (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Remarks: A 2013 Hyundai was stopped on Springfield Avenue and Seneca Road for speeding. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. D’Agostino arrested the driver, Michel Rojas, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Rojas was also issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Remarks: A 2010 Kia was stopped on South Avenue East for an expired inspection decal. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. O’Neil arrested a passenger, Pavel Stepaniouk, for suspected marijuana found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was issued motor vehicle summonses for no inspection and an unregistered vehicle.

Remarks: A 2002 Chevrolet was stopped on Raritan Road and Centennial Avenue for a brake light out. Following an investigation on scene, Ptl. Sherbo arrested the driver, Nicholas Severini, for suspected Oxycodone found inside the vehicle. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Severini was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
