Cranford Public Schools to Continue Full-Day Kindergarten Program

CRANFORD, NJ - The Cranford Board of Education will continue to pilot two tuition-based full day kindergartens for the 2017-2018 school year, pending sufficient enrollment.  In anticipation of high interest in the program, your child’s participation will be based on a lottery.
 
Children who will be five years old by October 1, 2017 and are Cranford residents are eligible for the full day kindergartens. Your application must be completed online at www.cranfordschools.org, “Latest News” or click on the “For Parents” tab or by clicking the link below.  Your application must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017.  Applications  will not be accepted after that date.
If your child is selected you will be notified by telephone on January 9, 2017.  Applicants should be aware there is a tuition charge of $660. per month.

Please note that the location(s) of the full day kindergartens will be contingent upon the number of students enrolled. Parents/Guardians will be responsible for transportation.  Children attending the full day program will be placed in their neighborhood school for first grade in 2018-2019. 
Registration for half day kindergarten will be conducted at a later date.  Additional information will be on our website, Facebook page and TV35.

CRANFORD, NJ - Due to impressive performances as goalies for varsity lacrosse, Anna Horne and Phil Marotta are Cranford High School's Athletes of the Week.

Horne, a junior, has 408 career saves. Her current total for the season is 84 saves as she helped lead the Cougars to victory in games against Montville and Governor Livingston.
