CRANFORD, NJ - The Cranford Board of Education announced that it has opened registration for two tuition-based, full-day kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year.
Children who are five-years-old by Oct. 1, 2018 and are Cranford residents are eligible for the program. There will be a tuition fee of $680 per month.
In anticipation of high interest, child participation will be chosen based on a lottery. To register, click here.
Applications must be submitted to the superintendent’s office by 4 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2018. Applications submitted after that time will be placed on the waiting list.
If selected, the parent or guardian will be notified by telephone on Jan. 8, 2018.
The programs will take place at Bloomingdale Avenue School and Walnut Avenue School. Parents and guardians will be responsible for transportation. Children attending the full-day program will be placed in their neighborhood school for first grade in 2019-2020.
Registration for half-day kindergarten will be conducted at a later date.
