CRANFORD, NJ - The Township of Cranford will host its 11th annual Relay for Life will be held at Orange Avenue School this year on May 18 from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Last year, Cranford’s event had 58 teams participate and raised $86,000. This year, the committee’s goal is to hit the $100,000 mark.

“Relay for Life brings the Cranford community together to celebrate cancer survivors, remember family and friends we’ve lost, and make a tremendous impact on cancer research,” event leader Linda Miklencic said.

Relay for Life is an event organized by the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and fundraise for cancer research.
