CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford residents are invited to attend the upcoming Annual Township Committee Candidates’ Forum, hosted by the Cranford Jaycees and Union Area League of Women Voters. Residents will have a chance to submit questions for the candidates to answer.

The forum is an opportunity to hear from this year’s Cranford Township Committee candidates: Democrats Patrick Giblin and Jean-Albert Maisonneuve and Republicans Andis Kalnins and Richard Buontempo.

At the forum, the public can submit questions in person. The moderator will ultimately choose the questions, but the major issues in town will likely be covered, according to Christopher Lenza, the Candidates Forum Chairperson.

The forum will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. in the council chambers at the Cranford Municipal Building. The forum will be broadcast live on TV 35.
