CRANFORD, NJ – Here are some accomplishments of the Cranford winter track team:

UCIAC Championship:
Senior Christina Barlik won the shot-put title with a throw of 37' 05" breaking the indoor school record which she set last year. Barlik also holds the outdoor shot put record set at the Meet of Champions last year, 39'02 3/4".

- The girls team finished second (first in the non-scholarship division) and the boys were eighth.
- Girls high jump: Taylor Grant 5'02 second; Lindsay Aschmies 5'00 third; Sasha Knapp 4'10 fifth.
- Girls 1600: Lindsay Aschmies 5:37.76 second place
- Boys 55M: Josiah Cadet 6.69 fifth place
- Boys 400M: Joshua Cadet 51.56 third place

Group 3 State Relay Championships:
- Senior Trey Pascual and junior Mark Lynch won the Group 3, Pole Vault Relay State Championship jumping 24' 00". Pascual cleared 13' while Lynch jumped 11'.
- The Girls Shot Put – Christina Barlik and Marissa Renna placed fifth in the state.
- The Girls High Jump – Taylor Grant and Sasha Knapp placed fifth in the state. The duo also won the Union County High Jump Relay on Jan. 7.
