CRANFORD, NJ – Cranford wrestling ranked No. 1 in the Union County Conference improved their record to 9-1 with a 49-24 victory over Union High-School on Wednesday in Union. See the results below:

220 lbs. - Alex Esposito pinned Raul Falar at 5:40.

113 lbs. - Anthony Capece won a 4-1 decision over Kyjuan Hutchins.

120 lbs. - Tom DiGiovanni pinned Ibrahim Elbanna at 3:18.

126 lbs. - Chris Scorese won with a Forfeit.

138 lbs. - Mike Nigro won in a 5-2 decision over Nicholas Wright.

145 lbs. - Dave Busch won an 8-2 decision over Yadley Marcelus.

152 lbs. - Gavin Murray pinned Nick Zuena at 2:26.

160 lbs. - Andrew Tompkins won a 12 -1 Major Decision over Jacob McKnight.

182 lbs. - Niko Cappello won with a forefit.

195 lbs. - Nick Ballas pinned Frank Weber at 3:59.

The team is in action again on Saturday Jan. 17 in the Union County Tournament at Union High-School beginning at 9 a.m..
