CRANFORD - The fourth Annual Lego Night took place in Downtown Cranford on Thursday, July 19th. Over 50 children signed up for this year’s event, which was divided into three categories: seven and under, 8-13, and Families. Contestants brought their own Legos and had over an hour to build their creations. The judges for this event were Lauren Antolino, children’s librarian from Cranford Public Library, Kinga Keaveney, the owner of Giggles, and Tammie Ramos-Crispino, the owner of Fire Me Up Studio. It was a tough decision for the judges, as there were so many amazing creations to choose from. First, second, and third place winners in each category received $25, $15 and $10 gift cards to the downtown business of their choice.

This is only one of many events that are happening downtown this summer. Sidewalk Sales continue this weekend, with Free Parking this Saturday, July 21st. August 3rd is Rock Yoga, sponsored by Alluem Yoga. August 13-17 is Restaurant Week with prix fixe menus offered from participating restaurants. For information on these and other upcoming events, please check out the Downtown Cranford Facebook page here.
