Downtown Cranford Roads to Close for Spring Street Fair

CRANFORD, NJ – More than 150 vendors and as many as 20,000 guests are expected to attend the Cranford Area Chamber of Commerce Spring Street Fair on Sunday, April 30.

The CACC said the following streets will be closed off to vehicular traffic starting tomorrow morning: North Union Avenue from Springfield Avenue to North Avenue, Walnut Avenue from North Avenue to South Avenue, Alden Street from North Avenue to St. Michael's Church, Eastman Street from North Avenue under the train bridge to South Union Avenue, and South Union Avenue from the Cranford Hotel to South Avenue.

Parking will be prohibited on those streets. According to the CACC, parking will be available at the trainlot on South Avenue, the Fire House lot, the Miln Street lot, the lot behind Riverfront on Chestnut Street and High Street, and the available street parking all over town.

The street fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
