End of Winter Soup and Chili Festival

This Sat., March 11th at Cranford United Methodist Church

The Cranford United Methodist Church will host an End of Winter Soup & Chili Festival on Saturday, March 11, 2017, 10 am – 1 pm. At our February Souper-Bowl and Chili Fest, we sold out within an hour and 15 minutes!! So, back by popular demand, they are holding one final soup and chili sale before winter’s end.

Ten fabulous homemade soups and chilis will be available for take-out. Order early – these will go quickly!

Everyone knows the soups at the church's annual Christmas Shoppe and Soup Fest are out of this world. They are gone early in the day even though each year more soup is made. If you missed out or just want more (who doesn't?), why wait until next December? Now is your opportunity to get some of those soups to take home. No cooking, no mess....just enjoy the best soups in town.

Donation Amounts

Pints and Quarts of the following soups and chilis will be available for $4 and $8 each:

  • Tomato Basil Soup
  • Potato Cheddar with Bacon Soup
  • Potato Cheddar (no bacon)
  • Smokin’ Beef Chili (spicy)
  • Beefy Bean Chili (mild)
  • Chicken Corn Chowder
  • Turkey Vegetable Soup
  • Italian Wedding Soup
  • Vegan Split Pea Soup
  • Homestyle Chicken Egg Noodle Soup

How to order:

Download the order form from our website: www.cranfordumc.com , fill it in, enclose your check payable to CUMC and mail it to Cranford United Methodist Church, Soup Team, 201 Lincoln Ave. East, Cranford, NJ 07016. Pre-paid advance orders will be available for pick-up at the event. Pre-paid advance orders must be received by mail, or drop off in the church office by Thurs., March 9th. However, you do not have to order in advance -- walk-ins are welcome too. (Tip: arrive early!)

Orders can be picked up on Sat. March 11, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm in the kitchen of the church's education building at 201 Lincoln Avenue, corner of Walnut and Lincoln Avenues, Cranford.  There is plenty of free parking.

Spring Art Show Displays Students' Creativity

CRANFORD - The Cranford High School Spring Art Show was held at the Cranford Public Library, on Tuesday. 

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., artwork from classes such as crafts, graphic design, photography, and drawing was on display for the public to promote the creative and unique projects done by students throughout the school year.
