Flyers Capture 5 Regional Championships, 22 Athletes Qualify for National Championships

Thirty athletes from the Westfield Area Y Flyers Track Club were among the more than 1,500 athletes that competed at the Regional Junior Olympics July 6th-9th in Brockport, New York. Four Flyers captured five Regional Championships and twenty-two Flyers qualified to advance to the National Junior Olympics. The National Junior Olympics will be held July 24-30 in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Westfield Area Y Flyers Track Club is a USATF certified club that has grown to train over 700 athletes in grades 2-8 throughout the year with programs in Westfield and Cranford. They offer two levels of participation - developmental and competitive. The Flyer’s Track Club is dedicated to healthy competition, teamwork and individual development. Spring Art Show Displays Students' Creativity

CRANFORD - The Cranford High School Spring Art Show was held at the Cranford Public Library, on Tuesday. 

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., artwork from classes such as crafts, graphic design, photography, and drawing was on display for the public to promote the creative and unique projects done by students throughout the school year.
