CRANFORD, NJ - The fourth annual 5k and one-mile fun run to benefit both Bloomingdale and Orange Avenue Schools' PTA was held this morning, an event organized by the PTA and nearly 50 volunteers.

This year the event was lead by parent volunteers, Jennifer Ketschke and Karen Woodruff, who confirmed that nearly 30 sponsors participated. Those sponsors helped to raise monies to benefit both Bloomingdale and Orange Avenue Schools' PTA and lend their expertise as needed, including the donation of race bags and t-shirts from elite sponsor, Cougar Headquarters.

The race included both a one-mile fun run and a certified 5k course. There were nearly 100 fun run participants and 160 5k runners. A DJ and bouncey house helped entertain the crowd throughout the event.
